YOU CAN'T BUY MY

People ask "where can I find your CDs?" all the time.
Well, here at my website is always a good place. And I can be found
in specialty music stores that carry folk music or eclectic records.
Yes, I still call them records. The media just keep changing, from
78's to 45's to LP's to tapes to CDs, to MP3's and the next big thing,
but a "sound record" is the legal definition and just plain
"record"
is fine with me.
But you can't get my records at Wal-Mart. It may be the world's largest
corporation and the only store left in many a small town, but I will not
do
business with them as either customer or supplier. This little ditty
simply
explains my position. I've been singing it in concert and people have been
asking for a copy, so here 'tis. FREE! The lyrics are printed below.
Sampled at 64 Kbps, the song file is about 653 KB
The version with the spoken intro is about 824 KB

You can't buy my records at Wal-Mart
You can't find my music there
I never do business with Wal-Mart
'Cause Wal-Mart just doesn't play fair
You might find some children's clothing
At prices that drive you wild
But chances are good that children's clothing
Was made by an actual child
So please don't go shopping at Wal-Mart
Don't give them fellers your bucks
Shop anywheres else besides Wal-Mart
'Cause that little ol' smiley face sucks.
